Telegondola Postăvarul Expres

The Postăvarul Expres gondola is the main lift of Poiana Brașov: eight-seat cabins that climb about 2.1 km from the base near the old stadium to around 1,700 m, just below the summit of Postăvarul, with a capacity of some 2,400 people an hour. It is owned by the City of Brașov and opens the upper slopes — Sulinar, Drumul Roșu, Lupului and Subteleferic — to skiers.

Prices. In 2025/26 a single ride up cost 40 lei for adults and 25 lei for children, up and down 70 and 40 lei, and the ticket was valid on the Kanzel and Capra Neagră cable cars too; a full-day ski pass cost 240 lei for adults. 2026/27 prices had not been published in September 2026.

Hours in the ski season are generally 09:00–16:00. Since summer 2026 the gondola also carries mountain bikes to the Bike Park Postăvarul; check the summer schedule before planning a ride up for the view.

The lower station is a short walk from the Teleferic and ANA hotels, and bus 20 from Brașov stops nearby. Upstairs, the Salvamont post sits beside the top station. See our ski guide and the Poiana Brașov page.
