A single RATBV ticket is 5 lei and valid 90 minutes on all city lines, including bus 20 to Poiana. Pay by contactless card at the validator or in the 24pay app — SMS tickets no longer exist.
- Bears are active →
Brown bears live in the forests right above the city and sometimes come down to Tâmpa, Răcădău, Noua and Poiana. Never feed them, keep to paths, and back away calmly. Emergencies: 112.
- Tourist tax: 12 lei a night →

The fortified church at Viscri is closed for renovation from 14 September 2026. The village, the museum and the bastions can still be visited, on a reduced ticket.
