Where can I see which pistes in Poiana Brașov are open today?

In the daily bulletin Brașov City Hall publishes on brasovcity.ro (Vino la ski → Starea pârtiilor și a instalațiilor), which the official ski site schipoianabrasov.ro repeats piste by piste. It lists the upper and lower areas and every cable lift, with the time of the last update.

Is the snow depth on this page the depth on the pistes?

No. It is modelled natural snow and weather from Open-Meteo at 1,030 m (the base) and 1,750 m (the upper slopes). Poiana's pistes run mostly on man-made snow — over 90% of it in 2024/25 and 2025/26 — so a piste can be open with little natural snow, or closed after a snowfall until it is groomed.

Are there live webcams in Poiana Brașov?

Yes. Ana Teleferic streams seven cameras on discoverpoiana.ro — the Kanzel cable car, Bradul top and bottom, Subteleferic and its finish, and two panoramas — and schipoianabrasov.ro embeds three more, including the Ruia plateau.

Which hotels are closest to the lifts?

The ones around the gondola and Kanzel cable-car base (Stadion, lower Drumul Roșu, Sulinar and Subteleferic all finish there) and around the Capra Neagră cable car at the foot of Bradul. When does the 2026/27 season open, and how much is a ski pass?

No opening date has been announced; the last three seasons opened between 30 November and 30 December. In 2025/26 a one-day pass cost 240 lei for adults and 140 lei for children aged 6–12. The 2026/27 prices are usually approved by the Local Council at the end of October.
