Piste Lupului inferior
The friendly lower half of Lupului — a first real run, and night skiing at weekends
Lower Lupului is the easy way down the bottom of the Lupului valley: roughly 1.1 km from about 1,150 m, where the Lupului chair tops out, down towards the gondola base at about 1,030 m. It is not on the official list of seven, and City Hall does not publish its own figures, so treat the numbers here as map measurements. What matters is the character: gentle to moderate, wider-feeling than the upper runs and served by its own four-seat chair, it is the natural next step after Bradul. In 2025/26 it was floodlit on Friday and Saturday evenings when conditions allowed. Being low, it is the first to suffer in a warm spell — late in 2025/26 the lower pistes closed before the top.
