RATBV bus tickets and passes
5 lei for 90 minutes on every city line, Poiana included; tap a contactless card on board. Fridays are free, and SMS tickets are gone.
One system
RATBV runs Brașov's buses. One urban ticket covers every line in the city, including line 20 up to Poiana Brașov, and is valid for 90 minutes with as many changes as you like.
Which ticket
- Single ride — 5 lei, 90 minutes.
- Urban Pass — 20 lei for a day, 50 lei for three days, 90 lei for seven.
- Metropolitan — lines out to Râșnov, Zărnești, Predeal and the other towns have their own through fares (7–8 lei), or a 12 lei ticket valid on any RATBV line.

How to pay
- Contactless bank card or phone on the validator on board — the simplest.
- The 24pay app, for single tickets and passes.
- Paper tickets and reloadable cards at kiosks and ticket machines.
Paying by SMS was discontinued. Guides that tell you to text a number are out of date.
Free Fridays
Since April 2026, city public transport is free every Friday under the „Vinerea Verde” scheme — every urban line and Poiana, plus several metropolitan lines.
