Pârâul Rece is a holiday village on the Predeal side of the mountains with one short piste: about 520 m and 160 m of vertical, graded red and served by a draglift. It is a local slope, not a resort — useful if you are staying in one of the chalets there and want an hour on skis without driving to Clăbucet or Poiana. We could not confirm whether the lift ran in 2025/26 or what it charged, and the draglift does not appear on OpenStreetMap, so treat any plan here as provisional: check the operator's Facebook page or phone before you set off. From Brașov it is about 40 minutes by car.
