One wide red under the Bucegi cliffs, snowmaking and a fun park
Kalinderu is Bușteni's single, well-kept piste: 1,300 m of intermediate skiing and 370 m of vertical from about 1,400 m down to the edge of town, 40–60 m wide, with snowmaking and a four-seat chairlift carrying 1,200 people an hour. What makes it special is the backdrop — the Bucegi cliffs and the Caraiman cross rise straight above you. It suits a half-day with children: there is a fun park with tubing, sledging and a mountain coaster, and floodlit skiing on Saturdays. The operator publishes prices on Facebook; we did not find a verified 2025/26 day-pass price. Note that altitude figures differ between sources.
