Brașov's Art Museum occupies a handsome building on Bulevardul Eroilor 21, on the edge of the Old Town beside the Central Park. Its core is Romanian painting and sculpture from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, alongside a decorative-arts collection and regular temporary exhibitions.

Hours. From 1 October to 31 March, Tuesday–Sunday 09:00–17:00 (last entry 16:30); from 1 April, Tuesday–Sunday 10:00–18:00 (last entry 17:30). Closed on Mondays and public holidays — and from 14 to 24 September 2026 while new exhibitions are installed.

Tickets (since June 2025): 12 lei for adults, 6 lei for seniors, 3 lei for students and children; temporary exhibitions only, 8/4/2 lei; under-5s free. Guided tours cost 60 lei per group in Romanian and 120 lei in English or German. The museum is covered by the county's unified museum ticket (25 lei, 15 days).

It is small enough for an hour, which makes it the ideal rainy-day stop. The Ethnography Museum is next door.
