The Ethnography Museum next to the Art Museum on Bulevardul Eroilor gathers the folk culture of the Brașov region — Romanian, Saxon and Hungarian: costumes, textiles, ceramics, tools and the domestic interiors of the villages of the Bârsa land and the surrounding hills. It is the quickest way to understand the three-community history that shaped Brașov.

Hours. Summer (1 May – 30 September), Wednesday–Sunday 10:00–18:00; winter (1 October – 30 April), Wednesday–Sunday 09:00–17:00. Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays.

Tickets: 12 lei for adults, 6 lei for pensioners, 3 lei for children and students (checked September 2026). The museum is included in the county's unified museum ticket and the Brașov Visit Ticket.

The same institution runs the Museum of Urban Civilisation on Piața Sfatului, with the same opening days. Note the Wednesday–Sunday schedule: many visitors arrive on a Tuesday and find it shut.
