Castelul Pelișor
Pelișor is the smaller castle a few minutes' walk from Peleș in Sinaia, built at the turn of the twentieth century for the heirs to the throne, Ferdinand and Marie. Where Peleș is heavy with carved wood, Pelișor is lighter and more personal, shaped by Queen Marie's taste for Art Nouveau: her golden room and small chapel are the highlights.
Hours follow Peleș: Wednesday 10:00–17:00, Thursday–Sunday 09:15–17:00, closed Monday and Tuesday. Closed from 28 September to 3 November 2026.
Tickets: the full tour costs 30 lei for adults, 15 lei for pensioners and 7.50 lei for students (official prices, checked September 2026).
