Telecabina Capra Neagră
The Capra Neagră ("Black Goat") cable car rises from the base of the Bradul slope in Poiana Brașov to the highest lift station in the resort, at about 1,775 m, on some 2.8 km of cable and around 740 metres of height gain. Opened in 1982 and run by Ana Teleferic, it uses large cabins of about 60 places and serves the top of Sulinar, the Kanzel slope and the Doamnei run.
Prices. In 2025/26 a single ride up cost 40 lei for adults and 25 lei for children; the ticket was interchangeable with the Kanzel cable car and the Postăvarul Expres gondola, and all three are included in ski passes. 2026/27 prices had not been published in September 2026.
Hours in the ski season are generally 09:00–16:00; check summer operation with the operator.
Its lower station, next to the beginners' slope Bradul, makes it the natural lift for families who split up during the day: the children stay in ski school at the bottom while the adults ride up. See our ski guide and the Poiana Brașov page.
